this is mostly for fun between tid, void and I, but i'm curious what the rest of you think haha.

I think I have the most solid picks, tid second geno third

geno has way too many male sword users, he could flip a couple of them but he's going to be losing a bunch there no matter what, and he has weird last picks

tid picked krystal way too early lol, other than that he's good. Mega man is a wildcard and neku has almost no chance, and he def won't get both

I have a couple of flips esp with stuff like snake but I think I have decent chances on everyone especially considering the last rounds

it's all a toss up though but this was fun

im mad because most of void's picks were ones i was going to pick straight after, but i did the same to him a few times so it's all fair and fun
i agree that void has ended up with the most solid list, but i'm happy with mine. my main regret is picking neku, like void said he'd be an okay choice on his own but sakurai won't get both him AND mega man, it's more likely to be one or the other. i did pick krystal early but im glad i did because she's more likely than some of the later ones void and geno did and if i hadn't picked her either of them might have.

i think geno's choices are all fairly viable on their own, but i don't think they all fit neatly into one roster, so he'll probably come third. we just have to wait and see though, I'm very excited

Isaac is primarily magic, rarely using his sword maybe for a Fsmash or something.
Chrom would be a replacement for Ike.
Lloyd has double sward powah so it sets him apart from the other swordies imo.
Aaand Takamaru is just a swordie I'll give you that. I could see them all joining.

But yeah this was fun to make, it'll be more fun as more information is revealed.

Lloyd is fine on his own but unlikely with bomberman there, it's the same as my neku/mega man situation.
I think you might still win if Sakurai replaces Marth with Chrom, which isn't entirely out of the question, as Chrom is the only Lord in Awakening, and he'll probably want to rep awakening. He definitely won't replace Ike.

I could imagine him being designed to be Ike's spiritual successor, but it wouldn't matter to me who he replaced or even if he didn't at all, I just gotta strong vibe comin' from him.

Ike is going to be replaced by a different fire emblem character as long as one of their attacks has fire properties, especially the neutral special.

Well, it's coming from a guy who said Chrom was the only Lord in Awakening, so he's either a 2/10 troll or he hasn't actually played Awakening.

To be fair, Takamaru would be the first character (besides Lyn) to use a katana.
He'd probably a heck of a lot faster than the other swordsmen, as well, apart from Marth.

They all use vastly different styles, regardless.

Out of all the Retro characters from Nintendo, really? A Ninja Swordsman with Magic? If feels so "repeated." I'm not denying his move-set would be kind of cool. I know he's been making a some guest appearances here and there in games, but I just don't see him being a playable character is Smash. I think the spot could be used for someone better.
