The thing is, just like Marth, Fox has one of the best approach kits in the whole game, and he's pretty used to getting comboed.

I do think Pika might be 51-49 or even imo due to him having kill confirms on Fox, him being able to stuff out some of fox's attacks including bair, can chain grab him to death at the right percentage and has the easiest time edge guarding him.

i believe it's 55-45 :fox: favor. He has better options in neutral and its pretty easy to rack up damage he needs to KO pika with uthrow>uair at 80% or wall him out with bair. pikachu doesn't really have immediate answer for bair, he'd have to predict it coming and hard read fsmash or thunder, etc. and I should note that fox can shine out of the CG after about 3-4x. I do agree though, that pikachu has a really easy time edgeguarding fox to the point that an offstage fox should be a dead fox, and that pikachu has a good amount of kill confirms on foxlike dthrow usmash, uthrow>usmash, uthrow>dair, dthrow>sideB, etc.

What?

He does have immediate answers for bair. It's not like we don't see when bair is coming. He has up tilt and fair to deal with Fox's bair.

Also, its mainly bair that Fox has in the neutral since Pika can duck under his lasers, Fox can't really return Pika's projectile and Pika has Quick attack landing to get up and close near Fox.

Are you stating at 0% or 50% because at 50%, Fox can't really escape it, he has to D.I. as much as he can.

fox wrecks pika in neutral straight up
nair/drill are both soooo good in this MU
also pika has a really bad defensive game imo, not many good way to get out if fox has stage advantage

and yeah fox can escape the chaingrab by SDI + shine

D-Throw Chain-Grab works from around 44% to 95%, but IDK if U-Smash afterwards is guaranteed to KO. But yeah, like Tyler said, I do think it's a very even (albeit volatile) Match-Up.

Fox BM is 6-4 for Fox
Fox can dash dance and pressure BM from practically any distance
BM cant zone against Fox due to his speed and shine
The only reason this isnt any worse for BM is that he should be able to convert a stock every time Fox makes a mistake or is offstage

Also another problem is that Bombs can't be reflected this demo, so Fox can't Bomberman's stage control from him.

Oh sorry I read that wrong.

Yeah I agree Fox beats BM.

Also Godot your gif is perfect for this situation due to the conversation that might arise from this.
