I'd like to have a lively discussion about the Six Day War, and whether you believe it should be called a war or an armed conflict. For those who don't know their history, The Six Day War was a conflict in which Israel was pitted against the combined forces of Egypt, Syria, and Jordan. If I remember correctly, it was over water.
I myself believe that this should be called an armed conflict instead of a war as when you think about it, doesn't there need to be certain conditions met to call something a war? Whenj you think of a conflict which spans six days, it makes more sense to be called an armed conflict rather than a war.
Anyone want to weigh their opinions on this topic?

War is subjective. It means whatever you believe it means.
Generally speaking, war is defined as armed conflict, as Thai mentioned. In fact, it is generally used as conflict in general. E.G. "psychological warfare", is not really an armed conflict.
