Yes they set them, but that doesn't mean they can accomplish everything they want in said time which is why we have delays. What happens if they think of something new during development? They can't just keep delaying games so they eventually release them. Kingdom Hearts II and SoulCalibur V are two examples of directors saying they had to cut the game shorter than expected due to time constraints.

All I noticed is some big things:
Announcer sounds weird
Character select screen looks nice
Results screen looks sexy
Fun Fact: The only CSP used on the box art is Wii Fit Trainer's

Cool Palutena's playable! Upset for the release delay, but realizing they must need more time to polish the game, so its fine. Still no news on the connectivity between the two versions though, maybe the Amiibo thing is gonna be related to it.
