everytime i play a mario kart game i ask myself why haven't they made a 3D mario game with stages based on courses in mario kart. like city levels or shy guy falls and stuff of the like

Strange how they didn't up the difficulty of the CPUs, I breezed through every cup with no major problem, though I had played the game through so many times, or I just got lucky.
The banana cup really sucks on 200cc though, too many impossible turns.

well in general i just feel like mario should take more advantage of the fact it has modern cities like isle delfino and the ones from mario kart.

Do you guys think Nintendo was really testing how an F-Zero woud work for Wii U with the recent Mario Kart 8 DLC? I think thar's too farfetched.

That maybe true for a new core game, but not for the franchise, otherwise, no Captain Falcon in Smash or the Mario Kart 8 DLC.
