Speculate what classic mode would have to offer besides the peril roulette.

Uhhh... It'd giv eus Classic Mode for free? Not much else. Just give us actually hard CPUs, not goddamm handicaps that take away skill, and put luck even more into their favor. Sure the Cpus are stupid, but still...

The AIs are limited by flash iirc.

It's not "flash doesn't allow better AI", but rather "Smash is a hard game for AI". Given the sheer amount of options, and the fact that there are too many ways to achieve the intended goal in the game (get the opponent offstage), it's exactly the kind of videogame which can trouble AI coders.

Even the official Smash games have trouble creating competent CPUs. Smash4 comes the closest but it still misses a lot. SSF2 has gone a long way and I'd say our AI can shine, but suffers from huge inconsistencies.

Perhaps put a Zero Saturation, Low Brightness pallete over the fighters.

And a flash effect that puts a shadowy aura around them.

I apologize, I remember seeing somewhere that Flash had limited AI potential.

After re-watching the direct, it looks like Metal Battles from SSBM are coming back, as well as what I THINK is Race to the Finish or a Multi-Man Battle.

Speculate target test stages in classic mode like in melee because of the target symbol you see in the SSF2 Direct video 13:02 for the classic mode Line up. Hyped!

I saw that too! Remind me, did the personal Target Test come before or after the "Universal" Target Test?

Crazy Hand making an appearance and the fighting shadows returning! Also, I think there will be a surprise unlockable character.

I'm wondering if Multi-Man Battles will get the Peril Roulette treatment...
