except usually the carry has cleanse or flash or something and then the tanks take no damage and the casters use zhonyas unless your positioning is really good and your teammates are defending you, ult is saying KILL ME

Eh, I guess Shen? He's apparently considered the best tank, probably because once he has his Ult, he can stop most ganks, and even turn it around.

Yeah you fear him, he pops cleanse or flash, and the next person to CC him gets the kill. You're supposed to focus the carry anyway. Srsly. Shen is hard to master if you don't have great map awareness. A fun combo is Shen + Panth + TF. Go from 2 getting ganked to a fully fledged team fight in around 3 seconds. Also we had an epic 5 man at some point yesterday. Was awesome.

amumu's ult is gravy, but shen is better at protecting people, he has all the s*** - heal (useless in fights though), damage soak, taunt and teleport

Fixed. Eh, apparently she's a monster when she gets her items, since her passive gives more AD with AP and vice versa. That, and all of her abilities are nice, Slow nuke that makes them get hurt more by her, a heal mostly for a speed boost, a attack that changes her auto to a ranged AoE, and the invincibility that could be useful when timed right. Though I'd still go with Taric, I just never do well with her.

Dunno if I'm late, but Nasus is a pretty good tank.
All you need is to buff him a bit, but by endgame he's pretty powerful.
