G&W was a absolutely necessary addition to the roster however, the contrary could be said about his reveal. lol I couldn't believe his reveal got stalled the way it did, and him being unlockable after the full release would'a been appropriate as well.

Something else I found funny us the fact his sprites and animations looks 1:1 with his brawl model and animation, like it felt like I was watching the console games when looking at G&W in action.

I didn't know why the character to be revealed had to be G&W. We (or at least , I) knew he would be in the final game.
Game and Watch in SSF2 was clearly obvious. So much hype and wait for revealing the most obvious unlockable char in the whole roster wasn't needed.
I was expecting a freshman from a Non-Nintendo game. You know , someone like Cloud or Ryu.

As a GnW main in Project M, here are some of my impressions compared to PM GnW.

- Fair has little to no landing lag and is overall AMAZING
- Bacon have a lot of start-up so using it as an approach isn't ideal, but they also have little recovery and the knock-back on the bacon seems decently high.
- Nair, while a good move, does not kill too well. GnW, other than fsmash and usmash, has a lot of trouble killing.
- I'm not sure how side b works, but I'm guessing it's completely random.
- Dair is really good, hits twice (as usual) but it has good shield stun
- Uair has a wind-box effect like in Smash 4.
- Dtilt is okay, comboing off of it is difficult.
- All of his smash attacks are all still very powerful.
- You can get some decent follow ups off of fthrow and uthrow.
- Ftilt has good knock-back but is a little slow to come out.
- Utilt is INSANELY fast in this game.
- Comboing off of upb is possible, but a lot harder than in PM.
- Jab isn't as fast as in the other games, but it's still really good.
- Bair is actually a really great kill move. In the other games it's used more as a pressure tool, but in this game I was killing people around 110 with it.

I'm glad he's in, but I'd have prefered him as an unlockable, mostly because he's always been an unlockable in all Smash Bros games, including Smash Flash, and I tought this game would not be exception.
The only things I don't like about his appearance is his arttwork:

His artwork in SSF2 is a little similar to brawl's design.

G&W's colors let you taste the rainbow.
I don't know why but his aerial movement reminds me of Rosalina's (especially with Rosie's Up-air). Sounds like he might be a main of mine for once. We'll see.
Nice to see you devs gave life to his Smash-charging animations.

This character didn't need all the hype imo. It was just disappointing. I'm not dissapointed that he's in the game, just that it was only game and watch when he was revealed. I was personally hoping for shadow and praying that tails(who's place he should've been in) didn't ruin his chance of being in the game. Or Mega Man Zero even.
Seriously, with all the hype you would've thought that it was a character that was never in a smash game b4.

All we said was that we were revealing a character on the 3rd day. You all just went nuts and got carried away.
