*cough* I, G, and N are the first 3 letters of what word? *cough* Anyways, I'm just starting to get into the Zelda games, any idea on which one I should get?

I started with Ocarina of Time, personally. I think it's a nice one to start off with. Twilight Princess would be nice too.

Play OoT first. It isn't the best one in the series but it's definitely the best introduction.

Yeah, his answer's better. I just suggested Twilight Princess because I find it the best along with Majora's Mask. But Majora's Mask is definitely not starting material.

Majora's Mask is too atypical to be a good introduction, plus it's a direct sequel to OoT. Twilight Princess is basically just OoT except darker, but the other thing is, it's also more modern, so playing it before OoT would probably ruin the experience of OoT, even though OoT is technically better.

That's why I said it's not starting material. I also prefer OOT, MM, and TP over Wind Waker. Wind Waker's good, but it's just too different from other Zelda games to be a starting one.

Probably, yeah. Wind Waker is f*** awesome though. Honestly I'd just play them in the order they came out, starting from Ocarina. You can go back and play LttP and LA whenever pretty much.

Yikes, that's a lot of acronyms.
Thanks guys! Since I don't have an N64 (Or 3DS), I'll probably download it off of the Virtual Console for the Wii, thanks again!

No problem! There's nothing wrong with the Virtual Console version. Personally I think the 3D version is by far the best, but if you don't have a 3DS then Virtual Console is definitely an okay substitute.

Speaking of Virtual Console OOT, I thought I'd share this trick with you guys for 'Secret Gauntlets': N64/GC/VC/Master Quest: 3DS: Done it myself on my GC. Got me some Zora Gauntlets.

That's pretty cool. I'd heard of most OoT glitches/easter eggs but hadn't seen that before.

It is. I had that video on my favorites for about a year and then remembered it. That's what got me to replay OOT. It was worth it.
