Yes, my friend would animate using Gimp. I found out how to in flash, but I can't figure out how to make the white transparent.
@Mazatti: I used to use an animating program and it came with a 'transparent backround' option...

@Mazatti: I used to use an animating program and it came with a 'transparent backround' option...


In falsh it's impossible to make things "transparents".... what you should do is making them transparent while creating the "image" or "gift" in a drawing program like "photoshop" or "gimp".

If not, you can trace the sprite and delete the extra frames (this will take you longer though). XI2 made a tutorial in the old forum of how to do this, so check it out ;)

? well, how i would do it is I would take the magic wand tool and select it then either delete it or change the alpha

I tried that, the magic wand would delete some of the sprite, not just the white :-_-:

i think there is a way, when you select the magic wand tool, go to the icon next to it at the bottom of the tool bar, and click on it. put in 1 and then go to the drop down list and then select pixels. then try it.

vos sabes como hacer un sprite transparente luna?? ...

no tenes que "borrar" cosas, si no que tenes que modificar la "color table"....

anda a "image>mode>color table", y desde selecciona que el color de fondo sea transparente.
