I JV 5'd a Wario on Clock Town because Shoulder Bash + recovery attempts do not mix.

So I'm playing some dude online. He picks Sonic, I pick Tails. Unforeseen matchup. So it's 3 stocks on FD, pretty stable on the lag, no items.

Or so I thought.

I'm fighting the guy and I see a SMASH BALL just passing by. And I realize, "Oh, he turned on Smash Balls. He... shouldn't have done that."

Long story short, the guy got 3-stocked.

We play again. He keeps Sonic, I play Megaman. Another dude jumps in before we start, he plays Link.
Host chooses Hueco Mundo.
Smash Balls? Let's just say he didn't learn from the last rekage.
So the match starts and I switch to Black Hole Bomb Megaman (or, rather, I get hit with a Gale Boomerang before switching.)
Upon getting hit, here comes sanic with the air d-spec.
Suddenly I'm getting double-teamed.
So I say "F$%# this" and head for the distant Smash Ball.
They see my motive and dash at me.
I manage to switch to Black Hole Bomb (finally) and stun them.
Then, lo and behold, Smash Ball get.
Then suddenly FISTS. Everywhere.
Buuuut neither of them die, they are, however, at a considerable damage to be KO'd. (As am I. Got hit lots during the FS.)
And so I finish the FS, and I'm ready to be KO'd.
They dash at me, despite already being pretty close.
And the rek is unleashed.
Hit 'em both with BHB, followed with fair. Short jump so I don't get all the hits in, but the BHB fades before the hits stop, so they're flinching.
I turn, barely hit a bair on Link. He dies. Sanic spot dodges it, grabs me. Goes for a d-spec but I grab him, hit him with a fthrow, then finish him with uair. All five of 'em.

So it's a star KO, but as I relish in the showers of rek, guess what?


He rage quits. Session ended.

I leave the room in triumph, only to come back and tell myself,

I pull off a sick combo on Fox and Nstinct leaves so I don't get to save the replay.

I rejoin his room and spam taunt while he takes two stocks.

I make a comeback and win.

I rejoin and leave as soon as the match starts.

This wasn't Doof. Doof is far too skilled to mess up like that.

As a recovery Shoulder is mainly used to go for the edge. Other situations would be when you're right next to the blast zone and you're very high up, as Shoulder will die out over time and you'll either sweetspot the edge or still be high enough to Corkscrew back. Shoulder being used in this manner can be difficult to challenge if you don't have a disjoint or a high priority projectile. Shoulder can also be used to edgestall.

So this was a small story. I was in a match against this Naruto player. Match started and I got a stock off of him. Parents come in, got distracted, came back and saw I only had a stock left while he had 3. Well I always want to fight challenging matches and be in challenge situations so I took the challenge. The dude I fought was so easy. The moment he lost his last stock he rage quit.

So I pick Marth and Ken Combo him.... So what does the random do? He not only quits but he hosts a room with a pass named "YOU SUCK MIRACLE--7"
