Instead of just pixel shifting the body down and making the legs shorter, I would recommend having the knees bend.

Probably because some of the characters they have aren't in the Smash Bros game, so he'd have to do it without the tracings; I'd love to see some of the sprites in the game though; Expansions maybe?

The head looks like it's from SSF2's sprite, not sure if it is, but the body is good besides some shading issues

Oh, I think you should try to make a custom one, because they said they don't want people editing their sprites; I made a luigi with it a while back
