Your SSF2 Mode Ideas (Read the OP before posting)

Do you realize that neither character uses FLUDD in their movesets and that the exploding tag item was removed?

Yes I realize that no characters use FLUDD in their moveset that's why I said every character gets a FLUDD and FLUDD does not change a moveset of a character it just gives them ability to float if you pick hover similar to Goku/Peach and the rocket gives you an automatic high double jump like Yoshi. Yes I know that the exploding tag was removed but I thought maybe they could bring it back just for a mode exclusive item kind of thing.

You still don't get that they had to remove the Explosive Tag item because it caused lots of glitches, so there's no absolute reason they'd bring it back just for a special mode

I wonder if they add this but i speculate Zombie Mode... It would be pretty cool.

ARCADE MODE:
You will have to smash against certain zombies through different levels. Like if you killed all zombies (or enough zombies) you will advance to next level. A zombie boss will appear after a few levels.

SURVIVAL MODE:
Survive until your HP is 999% or you are knocked off the stage.

TIME ATTACK MODE:
Survive until the time ends or kill the given number of zombies.

Goku's kamehameha or other least used specials is perfect for this mode, though. I am pretty sure it is possible to make a mode like this (A lot of zombies on screen at the same time) since they are going to make a Adventure Mode.

Zombies' HP would be settled according to their level or the difficulty level... Come to think about it, this will also contain a whole new type of stage(s), similar to adventure-type to be certain. Let's just wait for more surprises thanks to devs.

High Hitstun Mode/64 Mode: A special smash mode that makes characters have extremely long periods of hitstun like in smash bros 64. THis might have already been suggested, and if it is just tell me, as I don't feel like reading through nine pages of ideas right now. But yeah, this would allow for combos akin to the ones in smash 64. There would be lots of 0-deaths, and would be really interesting to see how the ssf2 versions of characters and stages would work in a SSB64 type environment.

LAG MODE: all your inputs have 1 second of lag before they happen :twisted:
SLAM DUNK MODE: all aerials spike!
CLOSE COMBAT MODE: tilts, jabs, and smash attacks are 50% stronger, special attacks are 50% weaker
EXTREME MODE: Damage, knock back, shield strength and speed are all doubled!
TRIPPING MODE: You trip. a lot.
FALCON MODE: EVERYONE PLAYS AS CAPTAIN FALCON AND CAN ONLY DO FALCON PUNCHES!!!!!!!!!

Capture the flag: Similar to capture the flag on FPS games, the goal is to get past your opponent, get his flag, and then try to make it back to your own flag so you can then score a point. There is no stock but there is a time limit if allowed. When the time runs out, whoever has the most scores when. You could also set it up in the rules where if you get a certain amount of scores (say 10 points), you win. Four players are allowed but they need to have two people for each team. The only problem I can think of is that there would need to be a stage big enough for this. I am sure the wonderful devs can figure it out though. Hyrule temple might work though... Sorry if someone else already came up with this idea on this thread. If someone did, they deserve credit, not me. Image

i wanted like a super mode so like characthers would get super forms and fight eachother thou some characthers woulnt be avaiable in this still i would be pretty cool sein ssj :goku: and super :sonic: against eachother and some charachthers could just have their ultimate moves like kirby could get all super abilities one for each special and the neutral special being hypernova

Not sure if this counts as an original idea since it was actually rumored to be in SSB Wii U but I'd like to see a "Tower of Smash" mode implemented since the rumor for Wii U turned out to be false.

So yeah, it would be a 100-room tower with three possible matchups in every room, each of which being a 1-on-1 single stock battle but with varying modifiers (although the new Peril Roulette may render this feature redundant).

You would choose four characters at the start, each representing a single life. You can choose your character before each battle but when they die, they're gone for the remainder of your run. The more rooms you beat in a row, the better your rewards. If you lose all your lives, you can start from the 10th, 20th, etc. floor as long as you actually made it that far.

The 9th, 19th, 29th, etc. rooms are always boss battles where you fight against special bosses from across the franchises represented i. SSF2 There would also be an unlockbale boss rush mode with the room set up like the classic Mega Man boss rematch rooms in which you fight all the bosses. Again, Adventure mode would make this feature redundant if it actually gets included but they could coexist if Tower of Smash includes bosses not included in Adventure mode such as Dyna Blade, Marx, Sigma, or Frieza, just to name some possible candidates.

Semi-Random Mode: Basically, anything can happen.
You select a character, you choose the number of opponents, and the difficulty. The opponents and stage themselves will be picked for you.
During the game many different effects can take place on the field (One player randomly has a missile locked on to them, all player gain super armor for a short period of time, players get random damage percentage increases and decreases, one player randomly gets a chance to use the final smash, etc.)
Basically its a random amount of modifiers applied to gameplay to spice things up a bit. There could be a survival mode with this concept, like for every opponent you defeat, the amount of modifers increase and their effects are strengthened.
