"A-alright..." Marion and Leon entered the passageway. It was dark and foreboding, making Marion cling to Leon's arm. They continued along the way until they came to a larger opening. Lex was unconscious, lying in a corner.

The lute connected with the brute's head and easily knocked him to the ground. The background music picked up it's pace, beckoning a stressful situation. The other two thugs immediately turned on Violet. They each swung their weapons, aiming for her chest.

Leon saw Lex in the corner, he was alive yet, but looked out cold. He approached him, making sure the maid was still there, she certainly was a clingy one, he wondered why she was so affectionet of him. He knealt down and poke Lex.

"Lex, Lex?" He said. "Lex?"

Violet gracefully spun out of the thug's way, smiling at the excitement she had stirred. She also noted that the music had picked up "What a strange and fun place" she said cheerfully. She raised her lute again and swung it toward one of the thugs aiming directly at his head then stopped immediately and aimed a sharp kick at the other thug's "precious jewels" "Eeh Hee Hee" she giggled "Let's hear what music you'll make Mister."

The thundering shadows spouting from Rana's hand stopped suddenly. He stared in confusion. The creature looked like it had absorbed his attack... And it had grown. Rana suddenly felt lost. He still couldn't feel the demon's presence, even though he could see it plainly. His mouth gaped open in horror as he realized he could not fight it. It was a thing of the void, which was why he was blind to it. It fed on Rana's power. It was Rana's power.


The demon rumbled again, then charged. Vibrant purple balls tore their way into existence around it and spun wildly around in great arcs, screaming as they did so. With every moment the demon seemed to shrivel, as if Rana's attack had only momentarily empowered it; though it was still horrifyingly massive.

Serene looked in Eton's eyes, hers became a shivering pool. She looked away at the floor. "But...I won't be killing myself...Eton..." she began to explain. "It'll be done by someone else...I know it..." She tried to pull the knife from Eton's hands. "Don't kill yourself...please..."

Endoh entered the main lobby and saw Serene in what looked like an embrace with the thief from earlier. "Killing her right now would be too easy...I'd like some fun as well..." he said under his breath. He walked slowly towards the two, holding his sword ready at his side. He began to make his move. "Well, Serene...wouldn't your father be shocked if he saw you with a petty thief such as this?"

"Endoh...you've come?" Serene asked quietly. She looked up to Eton and gazed into his eyes. "It's almost my end now...I can't run any longer. I lost the right to run when I killed Black King..."

Anna heard the approaching rumbling of the warriors feet, though she hoped another monk would be in their midsts. Someone powerful enough to seal away the demon or tie him down with light magic. The darkness appeared to have healed the demon though she wasn't about to let it fully recover without a fight. She opened her palm once again and another ray of light erupted from the air a few millimetres above her palm. She knew that she wouldn't last too long, her fatigue was starting to get to her, those warriors needed to arrive soon.

Eton stared into Serene's eyes and gave her a quick kiss and then turned to look at Endoh.

"You persist yet. Call me what you want, A petty theif, scum, whatever. It doesn't matter much to me. I know one thing for sure though." He said as twirled his dagger and approached. "Your the one who will be lying dead after this." With that he went in charging towards Endoh, one percise strike was what he needed.

The light pierced through the air and hit the demon, it had less of an effect then what it usually did, but removed what void energy there was and did some minor damage. The other men arrived on the scene. Immedietly the one aimed with his musket and fired. As the iron ball sped out aimed at it's head, the gun let out a loud roaring sound. The bullet flew through the air and hit it's mark, yet the beast would not die. The other men began their charge with Tekun who was still fighting.

Endoh smiled, and lifted his sword slowly into the air above him. Ready to strike and slice off any limb that shows itself to him. "Well...let's see what you can do boy!" he shouted to Eton, challenging him.

Euphemia heard some kind of commotion coming from inside. she wrapped up the sword in the linen and walked around to the door, moving inside. "I'll just stay back here to see if Endoh needs my help later on." she muttered to herself, lying down on the floor hugging the blade.

Eton rushed at Endoh as he rose his blade, he was ready to chop, hack and cleave whatever he could, knowing Endoh was vulnerable and stabbed quickly and deeply into Endoh's side and pushed into him with his shoulder, making him stumble backwards. It wasn't lethal, but it definently was a substansial injury.

"Is this the best you have!" Eton shouted at Endoh.

Julius's pleads gave a reason for Alice to keep going, if help could arrive soon enough, then there would be a chance that treatment could help her out of her situation.

Endoh smirked and began to laugh. "Well...you're a competent fighter..." he began telling Eton. "But you're too brash!" he ran forward and aimed his sword at Eton's skull. "If this strike doesn't kill you, I'll have to start trying harder!" he shouted with laughter.

Euphemia was lyign on the floor, about to doze off when she heard Endoh's voice. She pulled herself from the ground and grabbed her sword tightly, moving int he direction of his voice. She held her knife tightly in her hand, hidden in her sleeve. "I'm glad I had Rourky stay back in the forest..." she muttered.

Eton dodged but found the blade striking against the side of his arm, it cut him, Endoh was fast, the fight would be difficult, Eton gripped his dagger tightly and went to retaliate and went for another stab, he got another one in, this time, hitting Endoh's adominal area quickly, it wasn't as damaging as the last blow, but still good. Eton quickly backed away, holding his bloodied arm's biscep. It would be harder to use his arm, not good, getting damaged like that already.

Lex stirred and opened his eyes. He strained himself to sit up, but fell back to the floor. "Ach... bastard hit me over the head when I was laying down... my gods..." He rubbed his matted hair back into shape and sighed. "Where the hell am I?" Marion hid behind Leon.

"I knew they had arrived... but why did they dump him here..?" She tried not to get near Lex, obviously afraid of his lecherous attitude earlier.

The kick aimed toward the thug's crotch missed as the lute connected with the second's head. The able brute forced his fist toward Violet's meek stomach and let out a loud yell.

Endoh stood up, not even paying attention to the wound given to him. "That's a wound? It's more like a scratch from a kitten." He smiled again "However, the wound I'm going to give you...it'll hurt like Hell itself." He ran up to Eton once again, aiming another careful strike at his head.

Serene stood there, motionless, watching the two fight. She didn't know whether she should help Eton or not. She turned her head away, not wanting to see it.

Eton dodged the blow aimed at his head and countered with his own but found himself missing, a knee to his admonal area connecting and knocking him back. Endoh felt the effects of the two stab wounds when his own blood spilt to the floor and a sharp pain ran through his gut. Eton got to his feet, holding his arm yet, waiting to see what more would happen.

"A hidden passage way, look, Lex, we need to leave, where's violet at, do you know?" Leon said and looked back at Marion. "I don't know, hopefully Violet's nearby."

As much as Leon didn't want to admit it, he had some sense of honor, he owed her, it would be a burden on his mind if he couldn't return the favor.
