Really neat AT which I'm calling "glide slide" for now Landing during a glide won't cause the dead animation, it'll only cause you to slide a little. This is really useful under platforms where you can shuttle loop, land, and slide off while doing nair/fair. In addition, shuttle loop goes lower compared to brawl, so you can directly cancel it under battlefield's/dreamland's/pokestad's platforms. However, if you edge cancel it too early where the momentum boost would be really useful, it causes fall special :/

dair nerf is good, was really annoying. Meta Knight is still excellent. He will be top-tier for sure.

Well yeah because of the huge starting lag. That's probably because MK could shut down combos too easily, having both upair and dair being really fast, having range, priority, being good for combos, is a bit too much. MK just covered too much options imo it's fine like it is now he's still a top threat.

I always find that mach tornado can cancel combos, if you can move towards the combo on time...

The nerfs MK had in the previous demo was deserved, now he has to work to get those kills, since he has very little killing power.
And i also think not every MU he has is in his favor now lolol

Yeah it was, but his balanacing could've been taken a different route. Just make sure he takes a bit more hitstun than everyone else, or DON'T give him transcendent priority. Simple, but I guess the bit of startup lag was for the best. Perhaps it's because I like the past SSF2 Meta Knight more, just have to get used to him now I guess.  You gotta point there I think. Though he has been nerfed a bit too much imo. Tornado is useless if you don't have forward momentum. His range is terrible (specially fair and dash attack). He's as weak as Sonic in Brawl. Recovery is worse than Project M. Dimensional Cape stinks now. Drill Rush stinks now. He's a bigger target. Without his dair being as fast and the loss of his faster downb, he's gonna have it hard. Low-Mid tier material.

- combos for years - everything is safe on shield - grab range is nuts - high damage on some moves - amazing at gimping - nerfed recovery is still better than most of the cast - downb is WAY stronger

He's still excellent, cmon, I personnally think MK can't be bad in a Smash game. The concept itself of Meta-Knight make it an excellent character : Floaty, small, 5 jumps, but also fast, good combo-potential with those super-fast sword moves. Meta Knight might actually be the best character of the game now, at least one of the top-tiers for sure. Also he's really easy and fun to play.
The dair nerf was really necessary imo that move could do everything

A good ground combo I've used with Meta Knight is down tilt>forward tilt. It's very efficient as a punish, and can catch somebody near the edge and force an edge-guarding situation.

You got some good points, just not quite used to the nerfs yet I suppose. Maybe it's because I thought the speed nerf limted him a bit too much? Not sure anymore. I guess he's still pretty good, just gets combo'ed and outranged too easily to get in anymore....
