online mode is Freezes the game?

after joined a game/made a room
seleceted charater & stage and the other player is ready aswell my game freezes at like the first frame of match starts* and for some reason on the top corner of the screen there is the break the target counter from classic mode and it happens every time like here: http://i.imgur.com/wblf1Rf.png use on low quaity settings to make sure no lag |

It's not a freeze, since after several seconds, the game figures out that there's a desync, and automatically disconnects and delivers a "no contest" result screen. It still locks out multiplayer though

 There's a thread at the top of this forum called "Help us find desyncs!" that stuff like this is much more appropriate to post. I didn't think this was a desync issue but rather something else? I was able to play about 3 games in 2 hours last night, out of about 50 attempts. ugh...

I'm having the same issue as well, I can't even play online against anyone. And everytime I exit out my online room, the game turns black and freezes until you exit. But that must be the browser version of the game, I don't know about the download version.

we're aware of the issue and it has to do with the lobby system not locking your room fully and not being able to pass information quickly enough when it's under high stress. it may take some restructuring (read: some time) to fix but we're on it. sorry we didn't catch this before release - unfortunately 10 or 15 testers will never be able to do the things you guys do to our poor servers LOL

i have the same problem but its 2 of them the one you said happens to me and when im online and im in the waiting room the game freezes the issue happened to me every single time im playing online
