I notice in the running animation the tongue disappears for a frame. You should also add a little motion to the tongue, also for the walk animation give the duck a little more animation instead of just moving it a few pixels.

I my opinion your mr G and W looks to much thin, more because it's thin parts are too long than anyother thing.
I done it too as a concept, adding some shading in the outline to win some extra detail in the character.

Does Game & Watch have a Shadow?

No, it have not, but a Sprite is a sprite, and in my opinion, Mr G and W is really borring only with the black inside and grey outside, so the extra shadow detail can bring it some life and detail.

Mr. Game & Watch's Pixel Art + Palettes

Speaking of palettes, i dont mean to get on your nerves but can you cut down your palettes from 10 to 8 because it would be hard to put in 10 palettes and you should change sonic palettes and take it from Project M and SSB4. Your Game and
Watch looks like a real one because all over the internet, i found a lot of ugly poor designed G&W's and i only found 6 that were good.
