I know, I kind of had that in mind the entire time, but I didn't want to use money that I could avoid using. I did want to keep it working though in case I did it right.
Although, breaking it wouldn't have had much of a difference. After all, not reading disks is the same as not working.

xenosaga isn't really that good to be honest

So all of this stuff about it being an amazing JRPG was totally wrong?
Like, honestly, the controls are a real pain in the a** to get used to and everything is so complicated to just jump back into.

it's pretty overrated to be honest

it's not terrible, but there's much better JRPGs you could be playing, especially on a PS2

Phantom Brave (It's on the Wii, but I'm counting it because it's an upgraded port)

I took a look around and saw games like Dark Cloud but it doesn't look like my cup of tea.

I thought Xenosaga was cool

I think it really can be, and I really -want- to like it, but I can't seem to. The gameplay is a little slow for me (which is odd because I can easily get used to Dragon Quest 8), the field is also pretty slow and drags on for me, and the dungeons are really hard to get around. For the last few times I've played Xenosaga, I keep getting into the same dungeon over and over without saving because I can't seem to get further in it.
It's that one gnosis you go into and signs are a part of it. Then you see a cutscene about.. some.. old-ish guy that I can't remember off the top of my head.

i failed my ancient history exam today harder than i failed my biology exam but i have a week off now until my final exam forever
then i can go to japan and be a hikikomori

today I went to school and pretty much all my classes consisted of sitting there and doing nothing
except psychology
