You either master Bayonetta or you don't, and that's kinda what's turning me away from playing as her. She's super interesting but personally I can't bother to learn every little thing with how complicated she can get. She definitely can be scary in the right hands, can't make any assumptions this soon but I can definitely see her as high-tier.

She's super unique, I love how her down tilt sends the opponent in the air to follow up with up tilt, up air, forward air, etc. The one major problem I have with her is there's no manual cancel for her side-b, you have to wait the full 3 seconds for it to cancel itself and that's pretty terrible. Again too early to say but I'm calling possibly high E-tier.

Tons of people on twitter and youtube are claiming they found consistent true combos with bayonetta, every one of them is in the training room with a still cpu. Good try guys, but try them against an opponent with DI I guarantee none of these will work.

I was referring to those who actually plan on doing good competitively, where being powerful is more important than being "fun to play" (tis the sad truth).
If people wanted to have fun, we'd all be using Little Mac with items on Temple.

Bayonetta's presumably high skillcap is probably gonna turn off a lot of people. I mean, why spend so much time trying to master such a weird character when you can just main Sheik, who will still probably end up being the best character in the game while being much easier to use than Bayonetta
