I'm trying to think of any characters that Nintendo would consider to be "half of a third-party character" and Geno is the only one who comes to mind. That's just a guess however. If Geno gets in, it'll be a pleasant surprise to say the least and if any Square-Enix character got in an official Smash game, Geno would be the most likely (I'd personally prefer Sora but I know that's probably never going to happen).

I'd love to see Banjo in an official Smash game but unfortunately they're completely ineligible since they're owned by Microsoft now. _________________ |

Wasnt for me, the airdodge killed it for me. Just wondering though, why do people want Geno so bad? I mean i havent played Mario RPG so i cant fully understand, but what makes him such a great character? I'm not sure why Geno is such a fan-favorite but what I do know is that he was one of the three most requested third-party characters to be added for Brawl (the other two being Sonic and Mega Man). _________________ |

That is true, but don't forget diddy was created by rare and is still owned by nintendo. Also remember mega man is owned by capcom and sonic is owned by sega they could work out a deal with microsoft or rare. I wish they would have put conkers and banjo kazooie in melee when rare was still owned by nintendo. _________________ |

there's another character that many people follow it's a big problem but anyways on the topic of geno, i'm pretty sure his personality caught the attention of many and i think he was a powerful party member too |
