Like in the 70's through 90's. For example:Transformers,DB,DBZ,Voltron.
But mostly transformers.

Cent #1: Voltron is the worst show I've ever seen.

Cent #2: I was never a fan of Transformers.

Cent #3: DragonBall and DBZ are still some of the greatest animes ever.

There are my three cents.

Are you f*** retarded?

70's anime was a pile of s***, there was no such thing as quality until the 80's.

Word. From the 80s, the bar just kept getting raised. Which is why most some anime tend towards craptastic.

There were like 2 good ones from the 40-70's, old as f*** and no one remembers them, 80's started getting better, and 90's was the sex.

Toonami was the best thing to hit TV.

Completely true, even if it was removed.

Which was serious s*** on CN's part, considering that it was replaced by Fridays, and CN Real.

Actually no, they're all s***.

Then again, anime in general has fallen off the wagon, not too many things are even worth watching nowadays and are constantly overhyped by people who were either too young to remember the late 80s/early 90s or try to rebel against what is considered to be the "status quo" as far as anime goes.

To each his own. Once you're done clinging to the glory days, I'll see you on the other side.

Oh no, I would gladly watch a new one.
I actually have enjoyed some, like Fafner and the new JEEG.

But so many these days are just the same. It's like the world today, not enough originality anymore. Every time a show about teenage girls is announced, and people flock to it, a small chunk of me dies.
It's just not even interesting anymore, and some don't even have a point.

Guess what sustains the anime market?

But you are right. Good Romantic Comedies are few and far between. Slice of Life anime on the other hand, needs a more specific kind of audience to appreciate, not trying to imply anything of course, because a lot of people find it boring while some of it, I, and many others, find very well done and engaging (especially Aria).

And when I say stop clinging to your glory days, I am also talking to the people b**** and moaning about Toonami's death.

I actually hated every show on Toonami except for Megas, Bobobo, and IGPX.

Gundam Wing was sub par, Gundam SEED was a one way suicide train, One Piece was stupid, and Naruto...
