"What the?" Creis cried out. He lunged toward the figure, but was caught in the smoke. "Dammit, she got away," he said. He watched Nurse Joy lie on the floor in injury. "I gotta help her somehow," he thought. He noticed the Nuzleaf and Jack-o-lantern. "Friend or foe?" he asked with a grimace. He pulled Duster's pokeball from his bag in case of attack. He held the orb just behind his back, ready to release the Charmander if the pokemon proved lethal.

Synkus stepped in front of Creis. "Step aside, newbie, I've dealt with her before", he said.
He whipped out his Pokedex and put it to the Jack'O'Lantern Pokemon. "No Data available", it read. "Tsk, shes been exploring here already..", Synkus muttered.
Synkus threw Venusaurs Pokeball onto the ground.

"Hey! What the hell do you think you're doing?" Creis said to Synkus. "Calling me new?" Creis stepped in front of Synkus and released Duster from his pokeball. "Now let me show you how to battle," he uttered. "Duster, Fire Punch on Nuzleaf!" Duster's fist began to glow red. It soon caught ablaze, being completely engulfed in fire. Duster dashed at Nuzleaf and swung his burning fist at the Nuzleaf's gut.

That sounds sooo hawt.

Jason watched the Ratata running through the field, and began to think of why the device might make Pokemon flee. Then, Jason asked, "Why do they run away? Are they afraid of it? Or do most pokemon here run away?"

Synkus smirked. "Of course you're new. You don't even know who I am", Synkus said. "But if you wish to be beaten so quickly, I'll tend to Joy", Synkus said, and rushed over to the nurse.

[[Er, THoT, I'm only fighting the Nuzleaf, not the Jack-o-lantern. It's still yours, as you send out Venusaur.]]
