I'm curious because my History teacher never went into detail about mormons. So what exactly do Mormons believe in?
One of my a****** friends thought it was a cult and I thought something like that was a big f*** like.

After seeing all your posts in this topic, I feel sorry for you, but aren't you like, 25? It's not like you have to do what they tell you at that age.

Mormons or people who go to the 'Church of Latter Day Saints' believe the Bible and of Jesus, but think there is an extra part, talking about how an Israelite tribe went to America and it was God's Chosen Land.

Personally, I'm Agnostic. I simply believe that anything is possible but there is no proof to evidence what people proclaim, therefore it can't be considered fact. Atheism is based of the FACT that there is no God, the absense of God is not fact. All the other religions (except buddism and meditation based ones) are all considered fact, or require faith that its fact. I'd rather live my life as a great human and die hoping there is a God but not acting like he does exist.


Now I know we said no flame wars, but I absolutely have no respect for mormons, being black obviously. So yeah, I just had to get that off of my chest.

I don't understand, why does black effect how you feel about mormons. And don't flame me for being unaware.

Mormons believe that the darker your skin is the more you're soul gave into the devil's wishes before you were born or something. So everybody except white people are going to hell and are demons/associated with demons. As a matter of fact, Blacks weren't allowed in any mormon churches until the late 60s and Early 70s. And when I say any, I mean ANY.

Vegas is full of Mormons.
You can especially see it in our schools and stuff.
All of the teachers/coaches are Mormon, so only one or two kids in the sports aren't Mormon.

Also, wtf is up with all of the little kids at Mormon churches booing non-mormons that walk past? If they're trying to make people join them, that'll never do it. It makes them look like dicks.

I believe this because I always wondered, what are the odds that everything created in this world was created by some random explosion? The world is so complex and amazing that it had to be designed by some one.

There are plenty of Black people in my church, and their wan't any predujuce against any other race, nationality at any point...I swear.
I've seen that video so many times, everythime it makes me lawl on how much they bend the truth, No one in my church is racist, Mormon's believe every person is equal regardless of race, nationality, sex, etc, everyone has divine potiental.

Not to call you a liar Phratt, but I believe that you got some misinformation on your part, I've never met anyone in'e my entire church who has ever said anything like that.
