Sheik shouldn't have any issues, and neither should Greninja because he's pretty similar to Sheik
I'm surprised Falco/Rob/Pac is the one with the best results. I know characters aren't everything obviously but I figured the ones that would be doing good are the ones who have an easy time getting rid of Luma.
Are they actually targeting Luma first? Either way, Rosalina's getting a nerf which increases Luma's disappearance time by five seconds.

Oh whew, when you said nerf I thought it was gonna be attack-based. Seems reasonable, and much more worth it to go for the Luma. Well, I tell them to go for the Luma first but yeah, they don't. And when they do, they get grabbed, thrown, and edgeguarded. Sad but true. Friend A's Shiek usually just uses that bomb thing, and then is grabbed from from behind, etc.. He actually does target Luma, but with simple jab attacks and not much else. The other two Friends tend to do the same. I haven't fought C enough to really know how he battles, but I remember a tendency to spam Greninja's d-air. And no one seems to ever use grabs at all but me. That's probably an issue.

alright, friend A should stick with forward airs. forward air, hilariously enough, combos into forward air and can be used to easily knock luma off the edge. grenades are not that useful for ground combat, i pretty much only use them for ledgeguarding or attacking from the ledge (i'm sure your friend knows, but using grenades PUTS SHEIK INTO HELPLESS IN MIDAIR, so only use them nearby the ledge so you grab it before you fall) friend c should find a better move to spam grabs aren't that great against rosalina due to luma. once luma's out of the picture they're much better. sheik is excellent at grabbing.

K, thanks, that should help ease their pain. Good thing too. The Tourneys at the video game club at school would be no fun if I couldn't use my main. Nope. I'll tell him.

Exactly. I've never clicked with a SSB character so quickly. And it makes up for my complete lack of skill with Olimar and Brawl's Ice Climbers.

"Pic of the day. Smash Tour is really hard to explain in words--it's tough to give out guidance tips with such limited space to type!! So I'll stop myself from saying too much--just try playing this mode three times with your friends. Smash Bros. will definitely feel even more like a party if you try this out." "There are three types of game boards. If you turn on the Custom Fighters option, the fighters will be preset with custom special moves. The number on a fighter's portrait on the game board indicates which custom move set that fighter is using--this also adds to the randomness of this mode."

^^^ "This also adds to the randomness of this mode." Yep. That's Mario Party all right.

That kind of makes me wonder if the custom specials were designed to work together as a set or if they're just grouped that way in Smash Tour for the sake of convenience

I really would (and should), but I don't want to be harsh. It is mutually beneficial though...they get better, we all get better. Win-win. They claim she's "OP." Definitely not true.

if their reaction to losing is "oh no, that character is OP" (when it's not something like Meta Knight in Brawl) then
i kinda doubt they even have the mindset to get better
because they're blaming the game instead of themselves
