I chose Hoshi no Kaabii because it's technically a bad adaptation of the games
Instead of adapting a specific story like the Dark Matter trilogy or Revenge of Meta Knight they chose to blend the entire series into the story of adventure, then making a bunch of new characters that seemed to have barely any resemblance to the series' art style.
Not only that, but the CGI was (with the exception of Kirby) flat out terrible. I really wished they chose a more classic style of animation (except digital, of course).
Dyna Blade is the biggest example of this, she really loses her magic when she looks more fitting in the DKC cartoon than in Kirby.
Technically, it's a bad adaptation, and my inner fanboy would criticize it over and over and over...
Then there's comedy gold like "Hoshi no Dedede". After taking some steps into digital animation (the result wasn't pretty) I really appreciated this episode and a lot of hidden jokes it has. I just love it.
