Anyway I'd like Paper Mario. I don't think him being a fifth Mario rep should scare you for two reasons

1 - it's happened before. Even though nobody gave a s*** about Dr. Mario he was still there
2 - Having more Mario characters gives them more room for Zelda & Pokemon characters. It could be that I'm just creating rules where none exist here, but I kinda feel like they don't want some other series outnumbering the Mario characters (at least on the select screen). Therefore, a fifth Mario character means a fifth Zelda and Pokemon character aren't out of the question.

Or I could be totally wrong and Sakurai could just put in whoever he f*** wants. Not like he's known for that or anything, right?

I think Paper Mario will be in the game.

As a trophy.



I think a more prominent character the slot better. (Toad, Bowser Jr., Waluigi)

Waluigi is not prominent at all lol.

But I would love me some Bowser Jr.

Waluigi is prominent in the Mario Multiplayer games. He always has been.

Just because he's been included multiple times to shadow Wario doesn't make him a prominent character.

Well, one thing's for sure; he was not 'prominent' enough for Mario Kart 7.

But I would love to see Waluigi playable in the next Smash, if he isn't though I wouldn't cry over it. I mean I would still expect Toad and Junior before him.

Toad is Princess Peach's Neutral Special. It would feel weird for him to be a seperate character as well, similair to Bandana Dee.

There are other characters more deserving to appear.

Hammer Bros. are arguably pretty iconic enemies.

Toad in Peach's moveset could easily be changed to a generic toad that just wear a different vest color to reflect Peach's alternate costume.

Well that's your opinion, but I personally believe that Toad is the most deserving Mario character to be in the next Smash.

I dunno, although Bowser Jr. is the most deserving character in the Mario series from what I see, he still isn't all that deserving. There's something about him that doesn't make me really feel that he's really super important to put in.
I think Nintendo probably puts Waluigi over Bowser Jr. though, since Waluigi appeared as an assist trophy when, I'll be honest, Bowser Jr. had much more potential as one.

Bowser jr. as a character : ehh idk though i can agree with you on the grounds that he is important but not as important as others would think.

Waluigi would probably get in over Bowser jr. seeing as how they can just put him in there to complete the Mario + Luigi vs Wario + Waluigi Dream match up that fans cry over.

Tbh, the s*** he could do with the brush would be quite interesting, such as slowing down opponents, causing sludge to cover opponents that have the effect that I just stated, attacking them after they're slow, etc.
I just hope he uses the brush in some way from Sunshine.

That'd be a problem if people start spamming online. If he get's in, that sludge better have some type of limitations.
I don't want to see Bowser Jr. end up like a Ryu type character who can spam annoyingly, cause I just won't use him after that.

Though personally I hope that the one thing he DOESN'T do with it is turn into Shadow Mario.
