Hello! I am currently using a GameCube controller through Nintendo's adapter and vJoy. My character is stuck shielding if I ever press the button, and will only undo while holding the opposite shield button. If I release it, it's back to shielding. I'm using the SSB4 control scheme. I've switched controllers, rebooted the game, nothing works. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Make sure that the mapping for shields are "Button #" and not "Axis #". Easy way to do this is to hold the controller triggers almost all the way (before you get the click feeling) before mapping your shield and pressing down all the way when you do map them.
