The irritating, winged moogle reacted enthusiastically to the young man's request. Pete wasn't very fond of the moogles; they seemed to be the only things in the castle that weren't simple and dull. However, the moogle seemed heartbroken when Bylueal denied his offer for a pilot. After trying one more time, the creature wandered off.

"Ughhh." Pete snorted. "Why can't those things be more like the Nobodies?" With that, the old man turned to the ship. Upon seeing the tall lader, He decided to glide in with a simple gravity spell. "I'm too old for this 'ladder' s***," He wheezed with a sarcastic sneer. "Now come on, kid. I can't fly this thing without ya'." The inside of the ship was obviously built for efficiency. The cabin was mostly dark, with small blinking lights placed conservatively here and there to guide passengers. The man took a seat in the copilot's chair. "Let's get outta here," He shouted towards the hatch, "before anyone else decides to join us."

Gennedy directed her to go inside the gummi ship and she cheerfully waved at the engineer before stepping into the craft. She sat in the pilot's chair, grazing her hands lightly over all the various controls. She loved gummi ships, ever since she was little, she even flew with her father in a few of his prototypes before he hid all of his blueprints after her mother died. Flying gummi ships had become near second nature to her, and she knew that it was nothing like those simulators they had in the castle guard academy. Amara was glad that she had the opportunity to know what it was like to actually fly one, it kind of gave her a step up over the rest of her freshly graduated peers.

"Come on in Gennedy, the water's fine!" she said with a laugh.

Gennedy stepped inside almost hastily after Amara's friendly encouragement. It wasn't that he didn't like the notion of having nothing reasonably solid and sturdy enough to put his back towards. Which is why he chose the fastest one he could. Seeing Amara lovingly fondling the controls, he coughed slightly as he took a seat next to her.

"All ahead full," he said in a challenging voice, "If you can."

(Not much I can do here right now, if you'd take off or something I could describe the situation/surroundings)

Castle Guards

As the two entered their ship, a sudden light ran across the room, scanning the two inside of it. "Greetings... Amarantha and... Gennedy. You have received new orders. Please head for the world 'Twilight City' and rendez-vous at the base of operations on that world, located in the plaza." A mechanical voice commanded them. "Your mission will be to establish control of the world, under the command of captain Kaim. Please report to him as soon as possible." Then suddenly, the voice vanished, offering no further advice or directions.

Organization

The moogles had done well in creating this ship. In conflict with the ship's usual atmosphere, this one was dull and bleak. Almost no color existed in it at all, just about everything in the ship being white. The only thing different colored was the control panel, on which the buttons were white, but the dashboard containing them was pure black. On top of the dashboard, just below the view screen, stood a second screen, which carried the logo of the Organization. This, any pilot would be able to say, was how the Organization communicated to its members, how they gave important information, such as the situation on conflicted worlds and the deaths and defeats of various characters. Right now, though, it was blank. After all, the Nobodies had gotten their orders, now they had to carry them out.

Amara listened closely to what the computerized voice issued, while her eyes look down at the various flashing lights that blinked before her on the control panel. She tapped one of the dials examining the readings "Thunder gummi lasers are operational. Rear thrusters are ready to be ignited...hmm Everything seems good." She pushed a button and flicked a switch, the engines whirred to life. She loved the spirited sound of the fighter gummi so lively and free, much like herself. She maneuvered the gummi ship out of the hangar and proceeded to go through the atmosphere. She didn't bother to check how Gennedy was doing, the thrill of flying once again brought so much joy to her. She could feel the breaking of gravity's hold of them as they entered space. "The first part is completed" she said cheerfully feeling rather accomplished. Not wanting to be later than they were currently, Amara continued along the gummi route that led them to Twilight Town.

Isaac gave the moogle a slight forced smile as it neared. "Yessir, that will be one Kingdom model?" it chattered, giving its' views on the particular model before producing a whistle and calling another foreign creature to its' side. This one was barely half his height and vaguely humanoid in stature, lumbering over clad in blue robes what he could only guess were iconic. Its' yellow eyes glowed an unearthly yellow underneath a heavily shadowed face, a detail the Nobody barely cared to notice. "This is a Black Mage," the levitating creature began to explain. "It's a sort of doll, quite ingenious really, that will follow your commands!" the oddity laced every word with a sort of energy that would make the old man seethe in anger, though it did little to bother him specifically. The energetic creature continued to explain the dolls' abilities as it climbed the ladder, presumably to prepare for take-off. "I thank you. If you will excuse me, I must leave immediately." the robe-clad man said to no-one in particular, then making his way to the ladder as to join the supposed pilot. It was a quick climb, the Kingdom model wasn't exactly known for its' comparative size, and Isaac found himself in the interior of the bleak ship. Everything but the pilots' controls was a fine white, a recurring-and not to mention, fitting-- color owed to the Nobodies. "Take off at your leisure," Isaac said absentmindedly before occupying the nearest seat, awaiting the moment of lift-off.

And in to the vast darkness of space they went. It was cold and it would have chilled Gennedy had he not long ago taught himself to ignore the slight discomfort. Conversation would probably raise the temperature a few degrees he reckoned.

"What do you know of Captain Kaim?" he asked the pilot.

Castle Guards

As the ship broke away from the planet's gravity, the day sky slowly faded and the hundreds of stars came into view. As they progressed on the course to Twilight Town, the unmistakable sight of a fight going on could already be seen in the distance, with numerous small shapes flying through the empty space above the world. The silence and rather calm look of the intense battle, at least at this range, was broken every so often by small explosions, which signaled the destruction of yet another ship. The ship suddenly adopted vocal cords again, just in time to address Gennedy's question. "Commander Kaim; Joined the Castle Guards five weeks ago." The computer informed vaguely. "Was assigned as the commander of Twilight Town's defense before the Great Shift, reported to still be alive and in command of the troops stationed there, but greatly outnumbered and inexperienced at fighting the Heartless." It finished, clearly having a lot of recent information, but not exactly many details.

Organization

The Black Mage was seated in the pilot's chair, his hands moving over the buttons silently as he made the preparations for take-off. As soon as Isaac was safely inside the ship, the pilot activated the door controls, shutting it as one of the final parts of the take-off sequence. It wasn't long until he took the out of the hangar, flying into the void of space and setting course for Twilight Town. The Black Mage, in contrast to the rather cheerful Moogle engineers, said nothing. He simply looked out into the void, while his hands worked the ship's controls. Was this thing even a he? Or an it? Then again, did it matter? As it flew ever closer to the battle going on in the distance, the second view screen shot to life, and a hooded figure appeared, immediately addressing Isaac. "Your pilot will land down on the Station Plaza, which has been secured by our operatives already present." The man, whose voice sounded similar enough to identify him as the man who had given the initial briefing, began. "Once there, you will be escorted to Saïx, Organization number VII, who has personally taken command of the war effort on that planet. You will obey his demands." The screen shut off abruptly as the man finished giving Isaac his orders, no need to mince words.

Bylueal

"Let's see the controls...egh, why does everything here have to be bland white?" Bylueal mumbled, now in the pilot's seat. The controls themselves were simple, although he wouldn't be testing the weapons until flight. He started to take off the Dreadnought, the only sounds he made were the tapping noises from the buttons.

Alex

"So, what's your role in the fighting?" Alex asked the elder, having stopped his messing with the rifle as the only thing he could do with it now was pretending to do something with it. And he was curious anyway, he didn't know how the Castle Guard actually worked, and joining it means you have to know about it.

OOC: So... I was going to make a post and then before I posted something went weird so I lost everything so I was like "pfft not going to make that post again" So now I've finally recovered from the loss of that post. *ahem*

Amara listened while the Gummi Ship informed them briefly about Commander Kaim. To her, it really didn't seem like they had been given enough information. She would say that it was barely even the tip of the iceberg that they knew. However part of being a Castle Knight she understood was to trust your fellow knights, within reason of course. She piloted the ship to stay just out of range of any of the other ships that were fighting, trying to get to the planet in one piece, it wouldn't do well to have their ship blow up on her first mission as a full-fledged Castle Guard. Unless they were told to, join the battle she would do her best to get to Twilight Town as she had been ordered. Twilight Town was within view, meaning that the first leg of the mission would soon be over. She hummed a happy tune to herself while flying.

(OOC : Fine, fine, whiny buggers, but I'm going to need the post of a pilot to know if they wanna set the ship down on the planet, or if they want to join the fighting. And posts deleted, cause I'm a bastard)

Organization

The console which would be used in order for the man to receive his orders jumped to life, and showed a rather unusual man, who seemed the complete opposite of the usual Nobody, his toned upper body being exposed, allowing Bylueal to see the large, black tattoo on it. "Listen, kid." He said in a gruff voice. "I don't like you, or any of your kind, but I happen to be stuck on your side, so we might as well win. Get your sorry a** over to Twilight Town, and help me take control of the airspace." The communication was ended, but not before a short beep revealed the location of the, frankly massive vessel that had just left the planet's orbit and was travelling to Twilight Town.

Castle Guards

Alex

The aged man spoke, but his voice was drowned out as the engines were heard again, signalling they had managed to survive the fighting without any major incidents, and were currently setting down. The engines didn't go silent even as the door slid open, revealing that they had landed in the middle of an encampment, with at least two dozen soldiers preparing for probably the first real fight they had ever participated in. The passengers were urged out of the vessel, which took off as quickly as possible, clearing the makeshift landing pad for the next ship. The men had been dropped on a square that had seen better days. Anything loose had been used to barricade the alleys which had been the main cause of Heartless raids. Splashes of dried blood clashed against an inky black substance that any soldier would be able to identify as Heartless blood and remains, showing that over the last few weeks, a significant amount of fighting had occured here. By the time the elder addressed Axel again, many of the soldiers had already found their way to some of the groups preparing for a fight, finding out what the plan was. "You should find the commander, I'm sure he has a task you can help with." The man advised, turning to head towards his own objective.

Amara

The combat was, luckily, heavily focused on one sector right above the planet, which left open a rather straight route directly to the planet. Which was, unfortunately, swiftly cut off by the arrival of... Something. It was hard to see what it was due to the close proximity it was to the ship, but the ship itself managed to clarify. "Sin has been identified, please take great care around this creature, which has allied itself with the Organization, as it can easily wipe out entire fleets with one swing of its mighty fin." The creature looked, at least on the picture which the ship had projected briefly, not unlike Monstro, sharing a similar body structure, although this beast had, as the ship had mentioned, very large and movable fins. It was not long before the creature turned its attention to the nearest opponent, namely, them, and raised its fin in preparation to crush them in one attack.

The old man watched in silence as the frantic man shouted his orders. He didn't seem like a nobody at all. He was much too expressive, unlike most nobodies whose emotions were merely facades. Cornell carefully considered his words. It didn't really matter to him where they went: he didn't care for fighting and he couldn't fly, so a space battle would require very little effort on his part. On the other hand, it might help relieve some stress to beat the hell out of the heartless, and he doubted that anything in Twilight Town would be powerful enough to provide a challenge for the experienced man.
Pete turned to face Byleaul. "Well, it's up to you, kid," He said flatly.

"Oooh" stated Amara in admiration and awe of the great beast "I've never seen one of those before. Hold on Gennedy it's time for a little bit of fun" she warned the man in a cheerful tone, though she felt a slight though very insignificant pang of fear hit her. Take full control of the gummi ship she thought quickly for a way to out escape from the path of destruction as well as hopefully lose the beast. The boosters rocketed forward while Amara maneuvered the ship in a wide spiral, heading towards the beast Sin. She was thankful that the gummi ship as she followed the path she was making with her spiral drive ahead and instead of continuing the next spiral she pulled the ship into a curve in the direction of Twilight Town's atmosphere. "Woah hopefully this works!!" she exclaimed while piloting.

Gennedy could barely have uttered a curse before Amara cut him off with some daring manoeuvre. His digestive tract did a loop-de-loop, at least, that's what it felt like. Despite the debilitating paralysis of fear, he managed to make out that they were heading planetside. Thank goodness. That was a wise move.

"Woah hopefully this works!!" Amara exclaimed while piloting.

Wait, does that mean that this usually doesn't work? That wasn't part of the plan! Next opportunity he gets, he's going to have to learn how to fly one of these damn deathtraps. Gennedy wasn't even flying and he knew they were coming in fast, lethally so. He remembered they were supposed to meet up at the square of some sort so there was surely a wide enough avenue to use as a makeshift runway. For bonus points, Commander Kaim's tent would cushion them in the final part of the decceleration.
