Here we go, ladies and gents. It's just about time for the Finale of the Flash Collective Rankings' second season. I hope you'll all join me for the celebration.

Last time on Smash Island...

• 1smash18 suddenly appeared from out of nowhere after a year-long absence and won $25!
• Oreo came in second, after having to unfortunately forfeit before a Grand Finals could happen. He still got $5 for his troubles.
• Corvid made his highest placing ever, breaking into the top 3 for the first time.
• KingPawn made a solid run to 4th, defeating high-ranked players such as AxeEnding and FkH to get there.
• Newcomers andres58958 and Ragss2Ritches made great first impressions with their 5th place finishes.
• FkH broke the top 8, proving that he can still remain relevant even with the debut of strong new players.
• Newcomer isaacnvas also made it to top 8 by defeating DatSanicFan... and that's it.
• TyranitarLord, the winner of Smash Island S2 VIII and S2 IX, was felled by Ragss2Ritches in a surprising upset during the Losers Round of 9th, thus preventing the Kirby Threepeat!
• AxeEnding was likewise knocked out in the Round of 9th. With Drarky's return, could this mark the end of Axe's era as the best Black Mage in town?
• Lpoool made 9th place despite going 0-2 for the tournament, after getting a free pass through the early losers rounds.
• In a move that surprised absolutely no one at all, sam dropped out partway into the tournament.

In total, 24 players were involved.

New Changes:

• We will be going back to the old stagelist, by popular request.
• New "disruption" rulings have been added to reduce the number of potential issues that pop up during the tournament.

I've pushed back the start time to 17:00 EST, to give Brigadiers the space it needs.

There is this elaborate and solid end to FCR Season 2 that's definitive.

And then there's epilogue.

I really like this new time. Is there any chance we can get that as the new standart maybe?

To be fair, Epilogue takes place after the 1-year cut-off for Season 2 tournaments.

On the other hand, Epilogue can now be the opener for Season 3!

Also, now that Oligarchy has been pushed back, I think I'm going to move the time back to its original position. Otherwise, I would be completely shutting out the Europeans. Sorry.
