Well, Super Sonic meant you won the game. Stages were a walk in the park and bosses were jokes. Other than that, Tails is easy mode since you get DOUBLE HITS and he DOESN'T DIE.

Yup. After you get the Super Emeralds, everything in that game gets kinda boring.
Sonic '06 on another topic, was f*** retarded. I heard Sonic got stabbed from the back with no blood being shed, and ended up being revived by the Chaos Emeralds and turned into Super Sonic. That's f*** retarded. In fact, I don't need to make a spoiler tag about this, that's how bad and ridiculous this game was.

I don't see what's so wrong about it being in 2D Mode. Look at f*** Megaman 10, Capcom went back even further into even 8-bit graphics, and 2D gameplay. Would you like Sonic 4 to have graphics like Sonic the Hedgehog 1?

Holy s***, I think you need to quit!  Speaking of Megaman 10, I was pretty pissed off even back when they announced that 8-bit graphics will be used into 9 and 10. I got so pissed because I loved Megaman 8's graphics, and especially the music. Especially the music, mainly because of they used the synthesizer. _________________

Hmm...
I think that Kyuubitzilla has a very good point about the 'they nearly got the formula down with Sonic Unleashed', I mean, its 3D, but the day levels were apparently really good.
And I think she also has a point about how they are taking one step back, but I still feel that the reason they are doing that is because they saw how well that worked for New Super Mario Bros. Wii.
Of course, this doesn't mean I myself am not looking forwards to Sonic 4. I like the old 2D Sonic. But I liked Sonic Heroes as well, and Sonic Heroes - 'THE REAL POWER OF TEAMWORK' + better controls= A pretty good deal to me.
They say (By 'they' I mean IGN.) that Sonic Colors is a follow up to Sonic and the Black Knight, and I read elsewhere that Sonic Team is working on it.

I dunno, perhaps I am a fanboy, but Multiplayer Mario just sounds fun to me. Especially when you get the penguin power-up and everybody decides you must die. That part was hilarious!  Well, Sonic Colors may be 3D, I mean, if it was 2D I'm sure that SEGA would have bragged on about it by now. And even if they wouldn't have, what would be the point of announcing a 2D Sonic Game when there is all ready one in development?

Wait, So, if its only on the Xbox 360, is it a main series game? And if its only on the PS3, is it still a main series game? I wouldn't know, the only 6th gen I've played is Sonic Heroes. Uuh... 1. Sonic The Hedgehog for the PS3? 2. Shadow The Hedgehog? Those are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head...

I'll take your word for it. I didn't like the concept though. Did Shadow really need a gun? I'll take it that it was the other one then... never played it. All I know about is the awful scores it got and what looks like a romance between Sonic and some kinda human girl.  Though I decided to tell myself that I never saw that part.

Some people hate Shadow the Hedgehog probably because it breaks the Sonic tradition, since they added guns and s***. I didn't think that was necessary back then, but it was still decent enough.
