OK samus players you have a god send now.

Those bombs? They dont give a f*** about shields. Unless your opponent shields the very edge of the explosion, it WILL hit them through their shields due to some wonky shield poke mechanics.

You know what that means? Insane shield pressure. Drop a bomb over their head and they will have to roll out of the way or get hit by the bomb. So that means you either convert a combo off of bomb, or you chase their rolls.

Unless it gets powershielded (or fox has his shine out for some reason) there is NO answer to a point blank bomb drop. There isnt much to worry about close range anymore is there?

(this might not be new)

This does not work on Yoshi.

If that Charge shot had hit...

If I was that DK, the thing that would make me made the most is not the combo itself, but the fact that online makes it nigh impossible to tech during a combo.

If he teched at any point during that combo he would have been okay. That's what made it annoying for me to play against a Pika who was using A LOT of upsmash, and when he used thunder to meteor me I couldn't time my techs bcuz of input lag (so he gets another upsmash). Oh, and lets not forget how input lag makes for terrible DI bcuz you input DI late

That's really hard. If you do more than one shield press and it's registered through the lag, you cannot tech for a second after the error. It suck. You have to guess entirely on a single press, hoping it gets through lag and that input delay doesn't make you miss. Sometimes, Input delay makes you miss, you can't tech after then. Other times, lag makes the shield input empty and no tech occurs.

I'm saying sometimes you do that, and the input doesn't come out on time.

there is a ridiculously long grace period, it's impossible to hit shield too early unless you haven't been hit yet. if you want to tech you should not be able to fail

Personally, I just camp with Fox (while alternating Shine to lazers) and make Samus approach. After that, I just nair/dair the tar outta them and throw a few Shines and bairs here and there. When you don't know what to do, just run away and start shooting lazers again.

There, problem solved.

If a samus camps, you camp as well and either find a time to approach, or wait until she approaches. Works every time.

Still, it bothers me that samus still doesn't have a indicator telling us that she has a fully charged neutral B.
