It is, your point being? FFXI, the first MMO, is on Xbox and PS2. 14 was supposed to come a lot sooner to console, but due to the loads of issues, it kept getting pushed back. And it's not coming to Xbox cause lol console too weak.

I think they'll be showing versus gameplay at the Tokyo game show or something like that.

I keep getting mixed messages about this game. Every time someone tells me its out I later learn that its not.

Well I never read anywhere that it was being released I was browsing amazon and I saw FF14 on the PS3 open for pre-ordering for like 55 dollars.

I guess they can change versus to VX. Maybe the reason for it is that its part of the Fabula series and it will go national since its being translated. But, Type-0 have never went national because of prices & the limited of psp users. Then they were about import the game to the psvita but, seeing how it went at E3, they cancelled it. So, if type-0 did not come to US, then Fabula series is ruined for us. So, seeing that its unfair, they change the name and end the series. But, I hope they change their minds about type-0, it has to be the best FF I have seen to date -BIG FF Nerd |)

P.S: I beleve FF14 for PS3 will be released as soon the 2.0 version is out for PC

If its not being localized because its a PSP game, then they should just port it to the PS3. There you have it, a better chance.

As much as I love the MMO series, I feel like it shouldn't have names under the main series. Since it is such a vastly different experience, I feel that they should have taken to a different naming convention.

EDIT: I felt like they kept the title only because they wanted to make sure it sold well. Which didn't need it, because they're both good games.

so it can be a third person RPG, like fallout
