BDee's Down Special seems kinda odd to me
Parasol's Moon Drop and the little Dash Attack thingie are both DSpecial
Moon Drop is the Aerial version and the Dash Attack is the Grounded version iirc
Concept seems neat on paper but I kinda don't wanna do a Reverse Hadouken in order to do an actual Dash Attack with the Dee since his actual Dash Attack is the Pole Vault
But everything is subject to change so I'll let them do what they please :gameandwatch:

Ok so Bandana Dee, one of my most requested characters in any Smash game, gets confirmed in SSF2 in my birthday.

I don't know if luck or destiny, but thank you so much.

He's going into the list of characters I'll use no matter what in Beta.

Can we just talk about how Bandana Dee was the second character to broke the Assist Trophy rule after Pac-man? At this point, even the characters that are assist trophies have a chance to be a fighter now.

honestly I think it would've been cool to see the sword-weilding Waddle Doo instead since his prominence in KRBAY, but just a Waddle Dee works out too
So is PAC-MAN's Assist Trophy Ms. PAC-MAN now, too?
Or is there some other thing to compensate? :chibirobo:

8- Based on one of his palettes in Rainbow Curse and on Gold Waddle Dee from Squeak Squad.

10- Based on Wapods from Dream Land 3 and Return to Dream Land and on one of Waddle Dee's palettes in Kirby 64.

2nd row: show
1- Standard.
2- Based on Sailor Waddle Dee from Revenge of Meta Knight.
3- Based on Waddle Dee's appearance in Planet Robobot.
4- Based on Chef Kawasaki. Some Waddle Dees are also shown wearing a chef hat in the episode "Waddling while you work" from the anime.
5- Based on Chief Borun (or Chief Bookem in the dub) from the anime. Waddle Dees are also shown wearing these in the same episode.
6- Based on Noddy.
7- Based on Wiz.
8- Based on Kirby's Captain Hat in the intro of Orange Ocean in Nightmare in Dream Land.
9- Based on Cutter Kirby.
10- Based on Wheel Kirby.

I need that Robobot Worker Dee as a costume now :chibirobo:

Waddle Dee is the basic Kirby enemy, Bandana Dee is one of Kirby's allies.


Autocorrect is trying to convince me Bandana is spelled with two "d"s but I'm not buying it.

Sorry if I sound picky here, but I really hope the devs can answer this: is it intentional for Bandana Dee to not have his infinite rapid spear jab in this game? If this counts as future content, then please forget I even asked.

imo having that exist other than in a jab or smash attack is a waste of space in a moveset

No, TSON mistook the assist trophy. Wether or not the AT is reworked into a regular Waddle Dee is not confirmed yet.
