You guys are funny
Ridley wouldnt get in because his appearance doesnt warrant a playable character entry. He's more suited to be a boss. Bowser on the other hand has been playable before, so he makes more sense (even though he's a boss in the Mario series). As for Ganondorf, you got me, but he's probably playable because of his relative humanoid appearance, and normal size for a boss character. Okay, since this was pointed out on the last SSB4 topic, I thought I'd come along and point it out here.
Ridley won't be playable because he was already shown next to a Smash character. They're going to keep that size. Bowser may have been multiple sizes in the Mario series, but he was now shown next to a Smash character and we know his Smash-canonical size. Ridley's already gigantic and they're not going to change that, as that is now his Smash-canonical size. |

The only reason Meta Knight was "broken", was because the creator of Kirby is also the creator of Super Smash Bros.
Wouldn't you want your own created character to be the best fighter in the game? |
