Super Smash Flash 2 Speculation: Stages
Do you know that feeling when this fan game has too many stages? No? Then you've come to the right place to speculate what stages could be here in the future.

Pit and Luffy currently don't have stages; I wonder if they'll add some for them in Beta?

(It bothers my OCD not to have stages for them -_-)

Pit has the unused Skyworld which has been shown in the game's files since 0.8 so maybe that's makin a return?
I haven't seen One Piece so I can't speculate for a stage there :B

Regarding One Piece, I'd love to see a Going Merry/Thousand Sunny stage, but I feel like they would be too similar to Gangplank Galleon.

Even so, there's still a lot of islands that could make for great stages, such as the sabaody archipelago and Punk Hazard.
(I feel like Alabasta and Skypiea could also be cool, but since Luffy's sprite is the New World version, it should probably be one that they visit after the time skip)

But my personal vote goes to the Corrida Colosseum from the Dressrosa arc :p

I was thinking they might change Gangplank Galleon into Going Merry, actually.

I'd love it if they did, honestly

Thousand Sunny would make more sense imo as a stage, not too much of a difference from going merry.

Judging by the fact that Final Valley (formerly known as "Valley of the End") was an actual idea for a stage back in the days when SSF2's game ideas were more open to the public, I speculate the following stages to be introduced into SSF2:
* Abandoned Warehouse (Mega Man).
* End of Time (Chrono Trigger).
* Westport Base (Advance Wars).
* Battlerock, Ghostly, Honeyhive, Hurry Scurry Galaxies (Mario) as part of Galaxy Tours.

Many of the main Zelda titles are now represented via a stage. OoT has Hyrule Castle, MM has Clock Town, SS has Skyward Voyage, LTTP has Hylian Skies and TAoL has Temple
However, WW and TP have yet to make a stage representation. Bridge of Eldin would be a welcome representative for TP, so I wonder what stage WW could be represented by
Haven't played WW so nothing comes to my mind

Outset Island could represent WW.

I would say Pirate Ship from Brawl, but we already have a pirate ship stage :chibirobo:

In Melee, the "Akaneia" stage, which was to be :marth:'s home stage, was never completed, and almost all of its resources were deleted from the game's files. Attempting to choose it from the Debug Menu will make the game crash. According to Sakurai, it would have featured a catapult and a dragon if it had made it in.

Because it didn't, however, Marth had Fountain of Dreams as his home stage, and Roy had Temple (and Final Destination, in all-star mode).

tl:dr; This isn't new.

I'm well aware, and it bothered me then too.

I admittedly never liked emerald cave as the 'new' wario stage, personally would've liked warios castle from wario land 2!
Image
Either that or like a traveling stage throughout the various locals on kitchen island from wario land 1
Image
basically a new wario stage and i'll be happy

I hope we get Halberd from Brawl/Smash 4 (but edited down so the whole stage works in a 2D game).
I kinda wish we got a kirby stage that didn't come from the first 5 minutes of their origin game.
