I played some RDR yesterday but I wasn't really feeling it so I think I'm gonna do Beyond Good and Evil

PC port is terribad though. It was from a time before controller compatibility was a standard, there's no way to adjust the graphical settings in game, and the graphics glitched the f*** out the first time I played. The settings are hidden in a totally different .exe in the game's folder. First time I've seen that in a Steam game

Anyway the game itself seems neato from the first like 20 minutes. It's about taking pictures of s***. Who knows where this will lead????

That happens a lot with older titles. I've seen it mostly with the Blackwell series, (despite the fact most of the games are fairly recent!) but there's a couple other games that I can't quite remember that did it, too.

I know it's fairly common in non-Steam games at least, but most of the time Steam will allow you to launch the setup exe instead when you hit play. Kinda odd.

Anyway, it's a game about conspiracies, corruption and journalism. Good timing, right?

Yeah, it's all on the dev adding an option.

Anyways that is some good timing, haha.

I've been playing the s*** out of Dragon Age Origins, its pretty much my first ... what's the term? Western? I think that's it. Its my first Western RPG, and it was boring as hell at first, but I really got into it after a while.

I'm only about 40 hours into it, but I'm pretty sure I'm not even halfway done with the game. I got the less impressive 360 port since I couldn't find the PC version at retail when I first got it, but still, the differences are pretty minimal.

I'm loving the hell out of Morrigan, especially since she became an Arcane Warrior, so I'm taking advantage of that with armor upgrades that probably shouldn't be used on a person with "Mage" as a class. I got the full "Legion of the Dead" set on her. It's pretty damn heavy - even the MC can't wear it yet...

I really can't wait for Inquisition now. I heard DA2 sucked more than Origins, but I might get it just because I'm hooked

DA2 will make you hate everything about bioware and it ruins like 3 of the best characters in the series
Just still to awakening - I would advise against da2

Still mad that Anders goes from a snarky wizard bro tier companion to a homo emo Islamic terrorist and that merill's story in the later parts of the game is just dumb - they also changed zevrans bone structure
Morrigan looks s*** in inquisition as well sadly
Also loghain did nothing wrong

i swear, ludger's nothing like lloyd or any other main character. it's hard to decide what moves go for up, down, left, and right for some weapons.

I'm glad to hear that game's alright. It looks cool as hell

Been playing Dishonored because of the free weekend, but I went ahead and bought it because it was only 5 dollarydoos. I'm not totally sure how comfortable I am about how strong your character is. Usually a great stealth game encourages stealth by making combat a bad idea, but you're the goddamn queen's bodyguard in Dishonored so you can take some fights no problem. I suppose more options aren't bad, but for some reason it makes me a bit uncomfortable that you can piledrive your way through this "stealth" game.

Beyond that, the level design is great so far. As a 7th-gen take on Thief, I really enjoy it. So far, anyway. I'll have more to say about it when I'm done I'm sure

I've been playing Devil May Cry 4 since I got the PC version and it's just as fun as I remember it being :>

It's also f*** hilarious how Nero's clearly meant to be a "younger, more angry" version of Dante and yet he does that while still being more likeable than Donte ever was

Though I suppose not being part of a plan to murder a pregnant woman and never saying "well I have a bigger dick" is a part of that
