Runouw, the awesome guy(s?) behind Super Mario 63, wanted to make a new platformer game with completely original content. So, he (they?) began work on Last Legacy. It's a new platformer game with completely original content, and an AMAZING Level Designer that isn't even finished yet.

Although it's currently in beta, you can play the beta here.

Honestly it's pretty awful

It's a dull platformer with terrible control. It seems like he made it because he felt like making a platformer, not because he had a good idea for a game.

I thought the block editing powers were interesting but the character slides around to much for me

the block editing would be potentially interesting if they made it central to the game, ie it wasn't tied to an item and had a more elegant limitation. As it is it's a generic platformer with occasional block editing puzzles

and even then I don't really think that being able to move a few blocks around is much of a concept to base a game on

When making a level there's an option of whether to always have block-editing power or tied to the Delta Orbs. Other than that I pretty much agree with you, but remember it's in beta so there's lots of time to improve.

Last Legacy: Chapter 1 release candidate 1 is out! It contains six story mode levels as well as updates to the level designer and physics. It's still rather glitchy, but Runouw say they'll update with fixes later. Kinda like another Flash game I know...Anyways, link is the same as above.

Just tried it. Well I can really tell that it got me completely bored, enemies were lame, levels were uninteresting and the block editing mode was a dull feature of the game.

You obviously didn't get to level 4. The others are valid points though.
