I'll believe that check him out sometime, he's really cool well the thing is I have to really love the tracks to listen to it, good thing I love lots of music my iTunes only has 4 and 5 star ratings, majority is 5 stars, 4 stars is eh, anything I would rate 3 or lower stars I delete when I rate something 5 stars, I put it into a good, better, best kind of playlist set up _________________

If you are only thinking about what you can take from the tracks on the album, and how much you will love them then you aren't going to feel the general vibrations of the album and maybe that's why you don't value listening to them intact as much.

I listen to the whole album once over, all the while rating them as they end, I then put it into this playlist of which has all the other tracks that have been added there right after they have been rated, everyday I pick like 10 straight down from a random point and see how well the tracks feel for when I'm shuffling, that part isn't really used for rating, but it's just nice to see how it'll feel with other new tracks

I personally wouldn't rate the album or any tracks while I'm listening to it. It brings up some sort of analysis element and takes you out of the immersion of the artist.
