Last time on Smash Island...

• Seasonal Rot kicked in, as the talent pool was notably smaller than last time.
• That being said, it was still stacked as hell.
• Miracle-7 won it all, continuing the trend of random top players who never enter tournaments... winning tournaments.
• Chaunch dropped out in winners semis, only to suddenly return within 5 minutes, sporting a new hairstyle, new clothes, and a new IP address. Hmm...
• SoldierSunday continues the age-old tradition of rage-quitting the tournament after losing winners finals.
• Monte entered again, this time with 2 separate accounts. Let this never happen again.
• Lilmac didn't show up, despite checking in less than 5 minutes before the tournament began.
• A lot of people forgot how to submit replays in the top 8. At least they were streamed this time.
• Speaking of which, shoutouts to M-7 for streaming the event! We got a pretty good turnout in the stream chat.
• Jammy did not drop out this time. This is because Jammy did not enter this time.

In total, 20 players were involved.

What's going to happen next time? Will WRXJoey actually return to reclaim the title, for real this time? Will Miracle-7 bother to show up to try defending his title anyway? Or maybe someone like Monte will win by padding the bracket with 57 cancerous Fox alts? There's only one way to find out!

New Changes:

• None to speak of. That being said, I'm going to remind people that even though lag tests are a thing, that doesn't mean you should be an a****** about it.
