The windbox extends far enough to mess with recoveries?

WHAT IF:
Wall Jump out of Flowmotion.
Exchange that for removing the grab and we're golden

Again: why does the grab need to be removed? If they do the move and you shield it, then they just read you or you have bad reactions. The move has too much startup to be a legitimate form of shield pressure. Wall jump out is something I could definitely dig, tho.

There is litterally no reason to use anything but the neutral flowmotion. It is not only a grab but easily the best combo starter of the group.
You dont have to read a shield to choose what is the best option in all cases
Plus since you can angle the directory of flowmotion you have what is essentially the best command grab in the history of smash. Hell even if you somehow mess up and NOT use a grab the other options are fine on shield and will do a good bit of shield damage too.
This change will not remove the usefulness of the move, but what it will do is make flowmotion's other options more appealing, while great limiting scrub ' spammers motivation to spam this move.

I like flowmotion up more than neutral because of it's combo possibilities on FF'ers, but I see your point. However, the fact remains that if you get hit with flowmotion neutral while shielding, it's your fault for not reacting quickly enough. The move has fairly heavy startup lag and ending lag on whiff, so it's not really spammable unless you have a really poor connection online (which is super annoying). The only times I can think of where flowmotion is a serious threat from neutral (as a punish to an exceptionally laggy move, or as a tech chase read or roll read) it's also their reading you and not the overpoweredness of the move.

so as a thought, if thunder was to theoretically have a sweetspot on the bottom, would it be better off as a metoer or as a strongish horizontal knockback sort of thing?

Meteor: Sora doesn't need a good kill move, but a situational one would really help him out.

It will be situational regardless tho. But yeah I'm still torn on which one will be better off for his gameplan.

So I have a suggestion for Sora's moveset. You know how Firaga was removed? Well how about replacing his D-smash with Firaga? Atm, Sora has 2 of the 3 standard magic spells; Blizzaga for his B-throw, Thundaga for his D-spec, but Firaga isn't there. Having Firaga as his D-smash would be quite fitting imo (you could have similar frame data for his current D-throw, but Firaga is a more iconic move from the series so it belongs more), as you would have 1 spell for each of his attack types (out side of tilts and aerials, which wouldn't make sense).
