BTW the newgrounds characters in this forum are just a joke similar to the really bad suggestion thread, so don't take it to heart. -Waluigi gets released in 1.2 along with final smashes
-Smash Con characters will be: King Dedede, Snake and Knux
-Lloyd resprite
-A couple of new stages
-First trophies
-Character-specific break the target stages

Considering Refurin loves Klonoa games, is very highly probably that Klonoa joins SSF2.

That’s not the case. The roster is known to be set in stone and just because a particular developer enjoys or likes a franchise doesn’t certify a characters inclusion. Besides, if changes were to made to the set roster, the change would be based on Cleod’s decision.

But as for general speculation, I highly speculate Lucas’ inclusion.
I’m a fan of when characters are paired in the Smash series.

With Mario, you’ve got Luigi.
With Fox, you’ve got Falco.
With Link, you’ve got Zelda.
With Sonic, you have Tails.
With Goku, you’ve got Luffy. (Those two being from the same sort of media)

To a certain degree, I believe the SSF2 team’s set roster is based on pairing certain characters, which is why I could almost put money down in Lucas’ debut. And yes, I know that not all the characters are paired but this is what I’m going by for the time being.

Lucas having very similar moves to Ness in terms of aesthetic could grant general ease of creation as the developers that are responsible with the overall creation of the Mother 2 protagonist would have prior experience and thus, making Lucas’ production not only faster, but more efficient.

On top of all that, the demand for Lucas is considerably high. I personally believe he’d fit perfectly in the game.

The fact that Goku is in ssf2, it doesn't mean that Luffy needs to be in SSF2, the reason is because there was three anime characters, also the One Piece franchise is a shonen icon, and Naruto was in ssf2 and strangely Ichigo.

Keep in mind that Ichigo was the first shonen character to join the fray.

Ichigo was also the first character ever programmed in SSF2.

5.)Adventure Mode - It Will Be Interesting To See How McLeodgaming Puts Their Own Spin On Adventure Mode.
