Linux beats both of them, easily.

However, with a choice between the two, Windows.

Linux and derivatives would have my support if games could be installed and played as easy as in Windows. I must admit its an awesome development environment though.

They can be. I know Snoble has it, and he's told me all about it, so you may want his clarification, but if I remember correctly, there is a program or something that allows you to run Windows programs. Not completely sure about that though. And besides, Linux has the most kick-ass mascot. GO TUX THE PENGUIN!

I've only ever used Ubuntu and that's the most user-friendly one!

Several apps can be used in Linux to run Windows. The most well known is WINE, however even that doesn't have support for *all* programs. It covers a good majority, though.

And also, I only have Linux (Ubuntu distro) on a CD. My parents won't let me dual-boot it :(

Windows, Mac's way of doing things is so... sloppy. If I click on the expand button, it should fit the whole page, not be off by f***' 4 inches left to go or have half the page off the screen due to it being the size of the Sun.

Windows, simply because I can play games at high-speeds with no problem. Mac, on the other hand, makes the games I play on it lag a lot, so I can't really enjoy the game at all.

It's fine to bump topics like this as long as it's contributing.

I've always had Acer computers in childhood, but I had a Macbook Pro last year (until brother completely mangled it by surging the system :P ), I installed Windows 7 on it. I used to hate them until they allowed Windows Dual Boot. ^-^ Apple has way better customer support than most computer manufacturers. Anyways, Mac all the way now. :D

I prefer Windows simply because I couldn't play most of the games I do have on Steam.

Windows, I actually still use XP...

The reason? Macs support VERY LITTLE program wise, and as for the issue of viruses...

FIREFOX AD BLOCK LITE FOR THE WIN.

Partition your Mac and you won't miss out on anything. I'm very satisfied with my Mac, but I respect those who use PC.
