Will ETS5 be added? Just asking to see if you were aware of it.

I'm very well aware of that. You changed your name on challonge.

Also, Super Smash Thursdays 3, Super Smash Thursdays 4, 7 Swords 6, X8, and Hypest 18 have now been added.

You know what would be cool? If we kept track of game stats for players like game wins and set wins, and stuff on the MU and even the stage. It wouldn't be that hard to implement, just get the players to, in addition to reporting the score, also keep track of which characters they were playing and on what stage for each game. But to avoid collecting tons of data for everyone, I think it should only be applicable to players that make it into the top 8 of a tournament (and henceforth have to report this data), and only when they play against another player that meets this criteria. Think Tafostats but for SSF2.

What do you think about collecting these stats? While they might not be THAT useful, perhaps some people would like to know if Kyoz always wins on FD against Lunary or something like that.

I'm sure the wiki will eventually have something like that. It's too much work for me to do alone.

Well, if this task is delegated to the TOs, then they can get it from their players. The TOs can hand it off to someone who actually goes through and compiles the data and updates it and stuff. It doesn't even have to be related to FCR at all. Doq's X series already requires top 8 to save replays, and the players can always report this after their match. If the players report this to the TO, and then the TO sends the results to the ones in charge, then it won't be much work for the players or TO, and it saves the stats time.

At least this is feasible, why don't we try to do this from this point on? If someone still has the top 8 replays from past tournaments then we can start from there, but I don't want to go too far back. Maybe just start with stuff that happened in August. Do you think it would be a good idea to limit this to tournaments recognized by the FCR or reach out further? I think FCR-only tournaments makes more sense otherwise the players the stats would be keeping track of would be constantly growing as small tournaments have new players in top 8 all of the time. The main tournaments have relatively consistent top 8s, so just going off of them there wouldn't be many to keep track of.

Updated for Super Smash Thursday 5, Hypest 19, and THUNDER EDGE.

Also, just so that you are all aware, I will not be accepting any more weekly tournaments for FCR in Season 2. From the 23rd onwards, I will only accept monthlies, one-shots, and sporadic (1/month - 1/year) events. Otherwise, I fear that the community will get too over-saturated with tournaments to the point where they become meaningless, and it will become too much work to handle.

Of course, the only exception to the rule is the Hypest Tournament Series, due to being one of the Original 3.

Updated with the results from SSThursdays 6 and Hypest 23.

Also changed the numbering for the Hypest tournaments. Since the events have not been officially numbered until they started their weekly events, I'm going to go with the assumption that the Hypest Team derped out and skipped over the number 11.

Hey guys. So, I haven't had access to my computer for the past few days or so. I just wanted to say that the final update for Season 1 will be coming sometime later this week. The update will include 7s7, as well as Smash Island XV.

Here's a current list of tours that have been accepted for Season 2:

Smash Island
X
Hypest
Entertain The Stream/I Thought This Was Melee
Seven Swords

Assuming that no one royally screws up, these tours will always be ranked.

As for how the rankings for Season 2 will go, points will not be reset immediately. In order to keep things accurate, old results will be gradually phased out when they pass the 1-year threshold. In addition, the legacy rankings will keep track of every single event since August 2014. The only thing that will be reset is the matchup chart, but even then players will keep their current "tiers".
