This won't show up for other players, you'll desync. This is why sometimes when you join matches, it grinds to a halt mid-match - someone in that match is being affected by this bug, so what you're pressing has a completely different effect on their screen.

Link's Bombs shield stab really easily. Some characters (like Link), can't even block them.

not really a bug but kinda annoying/funny

Haha, I have a video of this. You can also make them disappear by dragging diagonally, and to make them reappear you have to drag the opposite direction (like highlighting).

the pokemon stadium picture needs to be updated. and if you use a e-tank, it can freeze you until you get hit by a enemy.

This isn't exactly a bug since I know why it happens and it makes sense, but it should be fixed anyways:

Pikachu can't use Thunder in the domed part of Sand Ocean.

For the Linux version of SSF2: a way to get past a recent error I've been having. I didn't find a solution on here; sorry if this is old news!
  • For certain environments, you'll get odd errors when trying to run the SSF2 executable - for me, usually stuff like
    Code:
    ./data/run.sh: line 2: ./fp: No such file or directory
  • If this is happening, then per the README you're supposed to try renaming the "run" executable in /data/ to "run.swf" and running it in a browser.
  • However, on a lot of browsers, this just results in the browser treating run.swf like a file to be downloaded and not as a SWF in-browser application. This is the part that might be considered a "bug", I guess.

So, to get it to work in a browser, you can use this HTML code:

So, save this code to a HTML file in the same location as "run.swf" (should be the first /data/ folder), and just open it (the HTML file that you just saved) in your (flash-supported) browser of choice. And SSF2 should work, regardless of your Linux distro! (I'm guessing that this is compatible with Windows and Mac also, although it's probably a pretty useless solution for environments that can actually handle standalone Flash applications.) If anyone else has been having the same problem (...kinda doubt it tho), hope this helps!

EDIT - Okay, found a different bug right after I posted that.

On Dream Land, in Egg Mode, if you're being pushed by the wind/Whispy, you stay an egg for the duration of the gust of wind. In the attached replay (thanks numbermaniac!), it happens when the 8-minute timer reaches about 7:38. I don't know if it's supposed to happen (it doesn't seem like it, since you don't take damage directly from the gust?), so I'm describing the problem here as a bug.

About 2:10 into a game, Yoshi got thrown infinitely high into the sky and spent the whole game just trying to come down. See the attached replay.
