I honestly don't see what's wrong with it. I completely understand not linking it because viruses and malware, but if they're not trying to break the hame and just expand on it. No harm no foul right? I sae some videos on youtube of a guy who added a new stage and is altering the effects of characters' moves.
I wouldn't download or suggest downloading any mods. But if there's a video about it, I'll watch it for dun yo.

I get it, it's for fun, you're experimenting yadda yadda. I'm just saying from personal views/morals, that if it was my software i'm putting my effort into, I wouldn't want someone slapping their watermark of sorts on my product.
