And here I thought all the backgrounds and textures were custom-made.

He knows what you are saying. Hes just saying that you're Googling backgrounds (pretty much taking an image and cut/copy/paste it onto the game's background)..

Don't do that in game making. This looks good but a better recommendation would be to somewhat sprite the background (or use the old background u used in crusade). This is okay but this shouldn't be done too often in game making. Just use this for now if you want

Why should i make my game ugly in purpose??? If SSF 2 haves 1000 spriters, its okay, sprite whatever you want. But we dont have the same quantity of spriters Flash 2 haves, and the ones we have, are concentrated on making custom characters or fixing sheets out there (Ridley or Mach RIder comes to mind). I dont see nothing wrong about using a free image from the internet.

Oh, and also, the old background was a google image too, i jsut replaced it by a better one.

ssf2 has a lot fewer spriters than you'd think, actually. we have about 3 for stages and 4 for characters, that I can think of.

i don't care if it was the first image or not, that's not the issue. the issue is instead of putting effort in, you seem to think it's perfectly reasonable to be lazy as f*** and just grab your background of google. feel free to ignore how out of place and unfitting it looks in game, and the fact that it looks nothing like fourside, i guess, but at least acknowledge the laziness behind it.

They took a picture from google, big whoop. everyone has their own way of making games. and its ppl like you, that make other ppl not wanna create games, because u nitpick, at the littlest things, grow up. Look, stop defending Crusade.
Crusade should use custom backgrounds and textures.
However, you are not understanding the point.
No one should cut, copy, and paste backgrounds to anything.
Everything should be custom, not copy and paste.

Death, a lot of changes were made, aside from Lcancel (whih affects all the characters) Fox got his Melee Shine (like, 3 months ago lol), Snake got his Brawl Dacus and More knockback on Down b an Down Smash ( And fixed knockbacks on throws) Ryu Aerial hadouken autocancels on landing and well, the list is pretty big.

A recent change i made was give luigi Side B (green Missile) have 3 frames of landing lag (he is the floatiest character of the game and his speed is pretty bad, he needs a way to move)
