Wasn't Rosalina revealed on a Nintendo Direct? So far, 3 characters have been showcased on a Nintendo Direct, right?

There have only been three since the reveal - Luigi in August, Sonic in October, and Rosalina in December.

And I dunno about Dix. I believe there was a Famitsu interview where Sakurai said Diddy and Dixie were originally gonna fight together, and there was that data on Brawl's disc and all. Characters that missed out on one version in this series have been known for making an appearance later on

Could happen, might not. I think I'd like Diddy better if Dix was with him, though. Would certainly make him more interesting

And I dunno, it could be okay but Diddy's already a fine standalone. I think if dixie gets added that it would be cool to have her be her own character as well.

To me Diddy was just never that interesting. I mean, he's cool to have around, but I never really enjoyed playing as him. No idea why. That's just me though.

I just feel like adding that gimmick might make him a little more interesting

So because they don't like Diddy they have no taste? That's a pathetic way of viewing things.

Please learn that other people have something called opinions that should be respected as long as they are justified. And yes, they did justify their opinions.
