I've never seen the results of that poll and you haven't either. You just heard that from someone else and believed it because you liked it. This isn't about Geno, this is about people constantly quoting a nonexistant source to support any character they want. Please, prove me wrong. |

Name a good reason why he'd be in? He doesn't meet most requirements I was using to list; -Must be as popular as the currently represented character -Series is large enough to have that many reps -Enough differentiation to not be considered a "Clone" -Fanbase isn't as large as currently represented character -Must be requested by both the CASUAL and HARDCORE community The full list I have atm is here; -Appear in most of the series' games, especially CORE games -Appear on a Nintendo Console -Originated from a Video Game source -Must be as popular as the currently represented character -Series is large enough to have that many reps -Enough differentiation to not be considered a "Clone" -Fanbase isn't as large as currently represented character -Must be requested by both the CASUAL and HARDCORE community -Must have SOME history with Nintendo -Must bring at least SOME kind of new element -Must be either a Mascot, or hold some kind of relevance |

You're not looking hard enough. Ahem, anyway, it turns out that my facts weren't 100% accurate: The poll in question was actually for what characters were the most requested for Brawl, third-party or otherwise. And Geno wasn't in third place, he was tied for second.
Those are the official results quoted word for word. You can find them mirrored all over the net. And if you accuse me of making them up, let me just say that I've had never heard of Demiru before researching this topic. If you're wondering why the numbers are so few, it's because it was a strange poll. Japanese fans were asked to submit moveset ideas for characters they wanted to see in Brawl. Those numbers are the amount of muvesets that personally caught Sakurai's attention. This was taken straight from Sakurai's personal blog (which I unfortunately couldn't find a link to).
