The SSF2 online is not working for me.

So I log in to online as usual create a room pick the name for the room pick a character, a person joins my room and I pick Final Destination. I go to the waiting room but after a few seconds the game freezes but the music still plays. After awhile after the music finishes playing the game is still frozen. I waited a few seconds then it took me back to the main menu. I don't know what the freaking problem is.

I have good internet.

I have a good laptop (Lenvo Y50 which is a actually a gaming laptop)

I downloaded the latest downloadable version which is 1982.

I extracted all the files.

I even downloaded the game twice.





So, what is causing the freezing? Is there any solution at all?

Have you tried picking a different stage?

I am aware this shouldn't be the problem but it helps to troubleshoot.

Your computer/internet connection may be incompatible in this case then.

That doesn't make much sense considering, I have the same type of connection as my old one. As in, it's the same provider and plan, and router hookup. But I didnt have the problem before.

My internet is compatible. I had the same internet connection/computer when I was playing SSF2 Online on version 1981 and it worked fine (It was fine with just 1 on 1 but whatever).

Does anyone know the problem? Anyone?

that means it's connecting to your opponent. if it never loads up the stage then you never connected to your opponent.

How do I connect to my opponent? The player does join the room I created and I just select a stage.
