Enough of this third party talk. What of other, non-assist trophy-fied first party characters can you see making it here? Or who... uh... deserve to, at any rate? Has Nintendo left any leaves unturned?

...like Mach Rider? I can at least predict him having a cameo.

Mach Rider definitely fits the Retro character profile like Ice Climbers and Pit.

Would you consider Mac a Retro character? He has a Punch Out on the Wii, but he's still a bit retro in my mind.

Dude if Sin and Punishment got a rep, I'd be playing this on my sis ds all night long. Love this game for wii. It was one of my favorites.

As fleshed out as he was in SSBB (what was it, 3 possible attacks and a finisher?) as an assist trophy and the reason for him being there (which was literally ALL of Japan's Nintendo fans clamoring for him to be featured in the game), NOT putting Saki Amamiya in SSB4 would be a huge middle finger to fans of the Smash series.
